Fort Dodge-based Community & Family Resources broke ground Tuesday on the Grays Woods Recovery Center in Des Moines, offering a new option for behavioral health care in central Iowa. The expansion project aims to address a gap in care, particularly for young people and families. It will feature 74 treatment beds. Outpatient and recovery housing services will also be expanded. A statement from Gov. Kim Reynolds was read at Tuesday’s ceremony.
