These symptoms were reportedly linked to a viral respiratory infection. Despite the initial concern, there is now positive news regarding his condition.

According to reports, the 64-year-old actor is showing steady signs of improvement. Mohanlal, who had recently returned from Gujarat after completing the filming of ‘L2: Empuraan’ and the post-production work on his directorial debut, Barroz, was admitted to the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences. The actor’s hospitalization caused considerable worry among his fans and the film industry, but recent updates indicate that he is on the road to recovery.

A medical statement issued by the hospital revealed that Mohanlal’s condition involved high-grade fever, breathing difficulties, and generalized myalgia, as per ETimes. The statement further suggested that these symptoms were indicative of a viral respiratory infection. Dr. Gireesh Kumar KP, Professor of Medicine at Amrita Hospital, stated, “Mohanlal has been advised to take medications, rest for five days, and avoid crowded places to facilitate his recovery.”
